Methodology

Use the units shown beside each field. Replace the sample values with your measurements and the figures on the selected product packaging.

Measure the project

Use net surface dimensions and deduct openings where supported. For irregular shapes, split the project into rectangles or separate sections.

Check the product

Read the product’s coverage, volume yield and package size. Default values are editable examples.

Review the order

Allow for cuts and round up to full packages. Check the layout before placing the order.

Formula and assumptions

Allowance is applied before rounding to whole packages. Whole units are rounded up; displayed decimals are rounded only for readability.

ceil = round up; floor = round down; max = the greater value. Trigonometric angles are converted from degrees to radians.

Geometry and material quantities do not determine load capacity or reinforcement design. Use dimensions specified in the project.
